About Geocentric Design Code
GDCode constitutes a framework of geometric patterns from which a broad array of artifacts may be fashioned and made integrable by virtue of their being centered on one spinning sphere.
It all arose from a lifelong fascination with the shape of things, both artificial and natural and then abstract upon exposure to a unique polyhedral form that accompanied house plans mused during venturesome years of global deep-sea diving, higher studies, and an experimental lifestyle revolving around human-powered mobility.
During the successes and failures of this endeavor, a growing sense of geometric discord between two wheels at rest and architectural design called for a fresh look at the polyhedron, which by its simple variegation proved key to a profoundly harmonious integration.
Subsequently, greater complexity in the form's crystalline essence spawned a richer framework of design applicability ranging from bicycles to rockets and bungalows to towers as well as the ground supporting them - all exhibiting strong sustainability attributes while complementing nature and the better of human constructs.
Though largely futuristic, many key code concepts are applicable now, and hopefully adventurous students of design with a penchant for applying general principles and set rules to specific challenges in a puzzle-solving manner will apply them toward the realms of building, landscape, and engineering.
